It takes about more than 3 hour for transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay for boarding to V’Spirit cruise.
11.45- 12.00: Arrive at V’Spirit Cruises lounge at Tuan Chau International Harbor. Welcome by cruise staffs at harbor for completing check-in procedures. After that, we will take a transfer to V’Spirit Cruise by tender boat.
12.30: Welcome on board, enjoy welcome drink while cruise manager have a briefing about cruise itinerary, safety instruction on boat.
After that, you will check in your cabin for a refreshment.

17.00: It is the time for cooking demonstration. You will learn more about Vietnamese cuisine and learn how to make Spring Roll with help of our chef, create your own spring roll and enjoy your product.
17:30 – 18:30: That is the time for sunset party with complimentary fruit/cake and enjoy Happy Hour ( buy 2 get 1 with your favorite drinks.
Get back to your cabin for a shower and rest before dinner time.
19.00: Come back to restaurant for dinner. You will have one of the best fining dinner in your life in a beautiful place and beautiful restaurant on Halon Bay cruise. All dishes prepared carefully by our chef.
After dinner, you can relax on top deck of cruise, play some board game, chat with your friends or enjoy squid fishing on cruise. Try your luck if you may get some squids. Enjoy your evening time maybe with a cocktail on cruise bar.

06.30: You may get up early for sunrise and joining in Tai Chi session on V’Spirit sundeck.

08.00- 08.30: Transfer to a smaller boat for going to Viet Hai Pier where you will take an opportunity discovering Cat Ba Island.
You can choose to take a bicycle or an electric car from the pier to Viet Hai Village. It will be about 6 kms where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the hidden area which is less touched by people.
Arriving in Viet Hai Village, you will learn more about local people and their daily life.
11.30 – 12.00: Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
14.00: Explore the fish farm at Viet Hai Pier by kayaking
If the weather permits we will take transfer to Ba Trai Dao ( 3 Peach Beach) for pristine beaches where you can do swimming or lying on pristine beach.
16.00: You will come back to V’Spirit Cruise, relax and enjoy sunset and enjoy Happy Hour on cruise.
Back to your cabin for refreshment after a day with a lot of activities.
19.00: Enjoy your dinner on V’Spirit Cruise on second night in Lan Ha Bay – a part of Halong Bay.

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. • In case of adverse weather conditions in Halong Bay, the cancellation will ONLY be made by the Halong Bay Management Board. Usually the announcement will be declared very close to or on the departure date and our refund policy will come into effect.
Not all cruises in Halong Bay can arrange a pick-up from Cat Ba Island but some cruises in Halong Bay can arrange a pick-up from Cat Ba Island. Among those cruises there are some of them will charge for that but there are some cruises will not charge for extra money. V'Spirit Cruise is one of the cruise which does not charge for extra money. Besides that, Dora Cruise, Erina Cruise, Doris Cruise, Erina Cruise do not charge for extra. Please contact our team for more detail about pick up. You can get a taxi from your hotel in Cat Ba Island for the transfer to Gia Luan Harbour or we can arrange a taxi for you to Gia Luan Harbour and cruises will pick you up from there. The time for pick-up of different cruises will be different so please work with your travel consultant to know more for detail. We can not arrange a cruise bus to pick you up from Sapa to Halong but we can arrange a bus from Sapa to Hanoi then from Hanoi to Halong Bay for you. However, the cruise embarking time is around 11.30 AM so you need a bus or train from night time. It will be tired for a long way like that. From Sapa to Hanoi it is about 5.5 hours by bus and from Hanoi to Halong Bay is about 3 hours and there is spare time so we recommend you to get a bus from Sapa to Hanoi in the afternoon of the previous day and you would arrive Hanoi for 1 night then next day we can arrange a bus from Hanoi Old Quarter. If you go with a private car, van or bus from Sapa to Halong Bay and it is much easier. We can start from Sapa around 3.30 AM but it is still not really good for a long drive for you and for driver.

You also can have a light breakfast if you wish. There will be about 15 to 20 minutes in the rest-stop before we get back to the bus for going to Halong Bay. The way back from Halong to Hanoi we will also have about 15 to 20 minutes for break.

We’ve just disembarked from our wonderful 1-night cruise with our famil, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience in Vspirit Cruise! Like many travelers, we felt quite stressed beforehand because there are so many cruise providers in internet — but on the recommendation on Tripadvisor, we opted for V’Spirit and we’re so glad we did. Our guide, Bobby, was absolutely brilliant — entertaining, informative, and always attentive. His humor and warm energy truly made the trip special for us. The whole crew was so friendly and hospitable too! On our first day, we were welcomed on board with a drink and enjoyed an excellent lunch. It was tasty, served hot, and had lots of local flavors to try! Two girls in our group don’t eat seafood, and we were so impressed that the team remembered this at every meal, providing delicious alternative dishes without us even having to ask. That was really caring! Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced, with a fun happy hour for cocktails. Our cabins weren’t the largest but were very comfortable and luxurious, each with a bath and a balcony — perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. Halong Bay has always been a dream destination for me, so when my husband and I planned our trip around Vietnam, it was definitely on our bucket list! We were picked up at our hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter by our guide, who was very friendly and caring. He helped us arrange our luggage and spoke good English, making sure every detail was clearly explained. The drive to Haiphong was smooth, with a stop halfway for a short break, restroom, snacks, or souvenirs. When we arrived at the bay, we boarded a small transfer boat that took us on a scenic 40-minute ride to reach the overnight cruise. The Vspirit Cruise itself was charming, with a classic design. Once onboard, we were warmly welcomed by the cruise staff — they even sang a beautiful song for us! We had booked a Junior Suite cabin but were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a Senior Suite! It was a cozy, nicely decorated room with wooden floors, white linens, a floor-to-ceiling window, and a small balcony with a seating area. The view from our room was amazing! Meals were served in a pleasant dining room that felt comfortable, spacious, and calm — not noisy at all, which made it very relaxing. After lunch, we had some free time to unwind and then enjoyed a boat tour to take in the beautiful surrounding scenery. We traveled in June, so it was quite hot, but we still got some really nice photos! In the afternoon, guests could also join activities like a short cooking demonstration, karaoke, squid fishing in the evening, or tai chi early in the morning (I couldn’t open my eyes that early, but I’m sure many people were like me!). After a light breakfast and brunch, we checked out and made our way back, bringing home some lovely memories of this stunning bay. A small regret was that we didn’t choose the 2-night option — one night just didn’t feel like enough for us! One word for V’Spirit: Perfecto! We are an older couple from Italy, and we fell in love with V’Spirit the moment we stepped on board. The interior is beautiful, with dark brown wood as the main highlight, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Gentle background music played while we enjoyed lunch, along with stunning views of the bay, such a lovely experience. We didn’t know there were so many cruises in Halong Bay, but ours truly felt like the best 😊 There were about 30 guests on board that day, so it never felt crowded or noisy, just peaceful and relaxing. The swing and kayaking activities looked fun, but we preferred to spend our time sunbathing on the sundeck. We did join the bamboo boat ride, and it was a really nice way to enjoy the scenery. Our kids were allergic to seafood, they asked us before serving the lunch on the first day we board the cruise, and the whole staff remmembered it and provide seafood-free for the next meals without asking us again. I’ve booked 2 nights itinerary with V’Spirit and it was absolutely amazing. They offered a luxurious room with a wonderful bed. The cruise staff was so attentive to the details. They make sure we don’t miss anything. Everything was well prepared for us, from towel to blanket. They also adapted to my dietary. Traveling in December was cold but the surroundings were amazing. I really enjoyed cycling around the island. I heard that this activity only available if you book 2 nights cruise. I was very happy that I chose 2 nights instead of 1 since it allows me to have more time to enjoy the cruise. I would recommend this cruise to my friends and family and you too.
