Athena Royal Cruise Halong Bay is a new luxury Halong Bay Cruise which was launched in 2019. With 22 luxury cabin equipped with modern and luxury facilities meeting world – class standard for 5 star cruise. Athena Royal Cruise and accommodation 40 travellers and 6 children on cruise and travellers still have a lot of space for enjoying the trip.
Halong Bay Athena Royal Cruise has the length of 60 meters, beam of 13 meters with the depth of 12.5 meters. Athena Royal Cruise is designed to make sure travellers can enjoy the trip in a luxury cruise but it need to be safe for customers when you are on boat.
Itinerary of Athena Royal Cruise goes to Halong Bay center so when you travel on our cruise you will visit all the most famous destination of Halong Bay like Amazing Cave ( Sung Sot Cave), Luon Cave, Titov Island and the core of Halong Bay.

08:00: Depart
Our driver will arrive at 8:00 AM to pick you up, and we will depart from Hanoi to Halong. Our bus will make a quick stop at rest stops so that our guests can take a break to do their personal hygiene.
12:00: Check-in
After a long trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay, we will arrive at the Halong International Harbour. There, the Athena Royal CruiseTeam will welcome and guide us to check-in our luggage at the waiting lounge before boarding the cruise.
12:30: Onboard
We will get to the Athena Royal Halong Cruise by a tender boat. When we board the ship, The Cruise Manager and the whole Athena Royal Cruise team will welcome us with our iconic welcome drink. While enjoying our delicious beverage, you will be briefly explained about the cruise’s safety and our itinerary plan.
Wifi connection is available onboard but may have limited connectivity due to the sea and the karst limestones and mountains blocking the signal from satellites. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank you in advance for your kind support and understanding.
12:45: Happy Lunch
A mouthwatering buffet lunch will be served in our cozy onboard restaurant for our customers. Vegetarian buffet lunch is also available for you to freely enjoy.
Especially, while the Athena Royal Cruise Halong Bay heads for Halong Bay - a natural wonder of the world, remember to take in the breathtaking scenery and famed limestone formations.
14:45: Caves Visiting
The first destination on our itinerary is the "Bo Nau" cave. “Bo Nau” cave was one of the first known caves in Halong Bay and was extremely popular at the time. Visiting this place, you will admire the stalactite-created stone column hanging from the cave's roof to the immensely spectacular ground. Looking out from inside the cave, you can see the sea's undulating mountains.
Then we will keep moving by tender boat to Sung Sot Cave, which is “cave of surprises”. This cave is considered as the most beautiful cave in Vietnam. Beside enjoying the majestic beauty of “Sung Sot” cave, you can also visit souvenir stores there.
15:45: Titov Island
After enjoying the beauty of the caves, we will keep moving by tender to TiTov Island. TiTov Island is one of the few islands having a beach in Halong Bay. You can enjoy swimming with swimwear rental service. Beverage and chair rental service on the beach are also available for you to relax on the beach.
Moreover, you can challenge yourself to climb Titov Peak for a panoramic view of Halong Bay. With an extremely steep and challenging road to the top, this is really a high-level challenge for people who are enthusiastic about exploration.
17:00: Relax
After an interesting journey, we will go back to the Athena Royal Cruise and relax with our available onboard services such as the outdoor jacuzzi, sunbathing on the sundeck, experiencing a spa treatment, etc...while the cruise will be moving to our overnight place – (Titop587)
18:00 - 19:00: Happy Tour
When the sun is setting, giving way to beautiful twilight, it’s also time for our “Happy Hours” with “Buy 1 get 1 free” drink promotion. Remember to take advantage of the Happy Hours and enjoy our delicious drinks!
18:30: Cooking Class
You will have the opportunity to attend a culinary demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes prepared by Athena's Head Chef and learn some cooking recipes.
19:00 Luxurious Dinner
After a long day with a lot of interesting surprises, you will be welcomed to a cozy evening with our delicious menu for dinner. Vegetarian menu of course is available to serve.
20:30 Great night
After dinner, it's time for free activities. With our various services, this is a great moment for you to chill out and have fun with your family and friends. In the dining room, you may entertain yourself with movies and minigames.We have numerous options for you to enjoy your nice evening. Athena Royal Cruise Manager and our team will be there to support you.
You will also have the opportunity to go squid fishing. This is a wonderful chance to experience the life of a fisherman on Halong Bay, and it is definitely worth trying when you visit Halong.

The first destination of our second day in Halong is “Luon” cave. While the Athena Royal Cruise is moving to the place, we will have some morning activities with Tai-chi exercise class on the sundeck.
07:00 Breakfast
After exercising, you will be served a light breakfast at our restaurant to warm up your stomach and prepare for the next activities.
08:00 “Luon” Cave
The cruise ship will arrive around 8:00 a.m. in the Luon Cave, which is one of the attractions with a poetic and peaceful natural environment. Here, different from other caves that you have visited on the first day, you must travel by boat instead of walking to visit this cave.
If you want to discover the cave yourself, our free kayaking service is available for you to try.

09:00 Check-out
About 9:00 AM, we will go back to Athena Royal Cruise to take a rest and pack your luggage. Remember to leave your luggages outside the door as directed by the staff, Athena team will get your luggages to the port.
09:30 Brunch
After finishing packing, we will have a cozy brunch buffet at our restaurant. Enjoy the food and the view while the cruise is moving to the port.
10:45 Goodbye
Leaving the Athena Royal Cruise, we will transfer by tender boat back to Halong International Harbour and farewell to leave Halong. It’s time to finish your Halong journey and be ready to go back to Hanoi.
11.15- 11.30: You will arrive at the harbour and get back to your bus/private car for 2.5 hour transfer back to Hanoi.
14.30: You will arrive in Hanoi. End of 2 day 1 night in Halong Bay Overnight cruise with Athena Royal Cruise.

Departing from Hanoi, we will travel to Halong Bay in more than 2 hours. Our bus will pick you up at around 8:00 AM and transport you to Halong. Please have breakfast before and make sure that you are ready to join our remarkable trip. There will be some rest stops for you to take a rest through our trip.
12:00 Check-in
Our destination is Halong International Harbour. Here, Athena Royal Team will have been waiting for us to welcome and support you to complete the luggage check-in before boarding the cruise.
12:30 Onboard
From the Halong International Harbour, a tender boat will come to get us to the Athena Royal Cruise. Athena Royal Cruise Manager and the cruise team will be waiting on board to welcome you with our delicious beverage and explain the cruise’s safety procedure and our itinerary.
The Cruise Manager will be always ready to support you.

12:45 Happy Lunch
An extensive buffet lunch will be served in our restaurant for you to enjoy the first meal onboard. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery from the windows of Athena Royal Halong Bay Cruise with thousands of huge and small islands with different shapes, lush vegetation, and tranquil sea water while the cruise is moving to Halong Bay.
14:45 “Bo Nau” and “Sung Sot” caves
The first visiting place in our plan is Bo Nau Cave. Bo Nau is the Vietnamese term for pelicans. The cave used to be a place for the Pelicans flying from the North to avoid the cold. This is the reason why the cave was named “Bo Nau''. Bo Nau cave is one of Halong Bay's earliest known caves which attracted a lot of tourists. You will be impressed by the stone columns formed by stalactites that drop immensely beautifully from the cave top to the ground.
Another cave that we will visit after Bo Nau cave is Sung Sot cave, which is “cave of surprises”. “Sung Sot” cave is a must-see attraction for visitors to Halong Bay. The sparkling and whimsical splendor of the cave will undoubtedly take you by surprise the first time you visit. And don’t forget to visit souvenir shops there.
To easily move and act, we recommend you should wear simple clothes, pack little belongings, and wear sneakers.
15:45 Activities
After enjoying the beauty of the two caves, we will move to Titov Island by boat. With beautiful white sand beaches and pure sea water, Titov Island is one of the places that you should not miss in Halong Bay. This island is also regarded as "paradise" for those who enjoy traveling.
One of the “must-try” activities in Titov Island is swimming with the pure and tranquil sea water of this beach, which will bring you a fresh experience. Then you may relax and unwind on the beach's shining white sand.
Especially for those who enjoy exploration, you can try climbing to reach the island top, it will be an interesting experience to see the whole scenery of Halong Bay from the highest place of the island.
17:00 Rest
After a long day fulfilled with a lot of surprises and excitement, we will come back to Athena Royal Cruise and spend your sunset time relaxing on the cruise.
A lot of available activities onboard are options for you to decide the way to chill out. The outdoor jacuzzi will be one of the best choices for you to relax and entertain with.
Besides, our spa and massage services are always available for you to experience and unwind. There will be more activities for you to experience onboard while the cruise is moving to Titov 587 to stay overnight.

08:30 Transfer
Leaving the Athena Royal Cruise on a dayboat to easily visit a rustic floating village and another cave in Halong Bay, which will surprise you time by time.
10:00 Floating village
The next destination in our itinerary is the Tung Sau area - a local village which is famous for fishing and especially pearl farming. To get there, you have to travel by kayak to easily discover.
12:00 Happy Lunch
After an active morning with kayaking, we will be served a Vietnamese traditional menu to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine.
13:30 “Me Cung” cave
After relaxing on the boat, we will arrive at the next destination of our itinerary: Me Cung Cave. Me Cung Cave, or “Maze” cave, is one of the most wonderful caves in Halong Bay. This cave will impress you with its breathtaking scenery. This area features a complex structure with multiple sections and dividing walls like a "maze”, which will make you feel like you are in an underground castle.
15:00 Relax
It’s time to go back to Athena Royal Cruise and take a rest onboard. It’s the best time to sunbathe on the sundeck or enjoy our outdoor jacuzzi.
With a long active day kayaking and visiting, you must be a little tired. So this is a great time to experience spa and massage services onboard, this will help you unwind and recover.

The first destination is Luon Cave, a great place to discover. Luon Cave impresses visitors with its beautiful natural landscape, the perfect intertwining blend of the colors of the water, clouds, and sky, and each crag, tree stump. This place is Mother Nature's gift to Ha Long.
To visit this place, you have two options: free kayaking or a traditional bamboo boat. Kayaking will be the best choice for those who enjoy experiencing it. If you choose kayaking and you may choose another option, it is a traditional bamboo boat which is rowed by a Vietnamese local boatman ( pay extra 50.000 VND/person -Price updated until June 2023) is a perfect option for you to enjoy the beauty of “Luon” cave.

After an active morning with kayaking and visiting, we will go back to Athena Royal Cruise to relax and pack your luggage.
Remember to leave the luggages outside the door as directed by our staff. The Athena team will get them on the Port.

It’s time to warm up your stomach with a brunch buffet at the restaurant onboard while the cruise is moving back to the Port.
10:45 Goodbye
Farewell to the Athena Royal Cruise and the whole crew team, we will leave the cruise and go back to Halong International Harbour by tender boat.
11.15- 11.30: You will arrive the harbour where your bus or private driver waiting for you for 2.5 hour transfer back to Hanoi.
14.30: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. End of 3 day 2 night in Halong Bay with Athena Royal Cruise.
