Take up residence in one of our excellently appointed cabins as we take in the beauty of not one, but two of the bays that comprise the naturally blessed Gulf of Tonkin.
On a 3-day itinerary with the Apricot Premium Cruise, you will see the best of Halong and Lan Ha bays, with a unique itinerary that gives you freedom of choice and asks you how you want to experience your own holiday. You will choose where to spend the second night of your 3-day holiday with us and be able to relish the independence that this provides.

07:45 - 08:30: Take the drive to Halong Bay with the shuttle bus, which will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Hanoi
12:30: We arrive at Tuan Chau harbour, where the Apricot Premium Cruise will be waiting to welcome us on board.
13:00: A full lunch will start off the cruise in delicious style.
14:30: After some relaxed cruising, we arrive at our first destination, Sung Sot Cave. We can find many beautiful examples of karst geology in here.
16:00: Our final stop for the day is Titop Island, where we can spend time in beautiful nature on the beach or in the sea.
17:00: A sunset party welcomes us invitingly back to the Apricot Premium Cruise, where we can meet fellow passengers and enjoy the free wine and fruit served bellow a streaked red sky.
19:00: The evening starts with a delicious dinner and ends with a relaxed sleep in your cabin. In between, you can enjoy squid fishing, drinks at the bar, board games or relaxation beneath the stars on the sundeck.

06:30: Early risers can join the tai chi master on the sundeck as they show you techniques to relax your body and mind.
07:00: We have a wonderful breakfast downstairs as the captain begins his voyage once more.
08:00: The morning will be spent with some serene kayaking, which we will do in a very quiet spot of the bay.
09:30: We have our last few hours on the Apricot Premium Cruise, so make the most of your relaxation during this time. A cooking class afterwards will present you with the opportunity to make some Vietnamese cuisine.
11:00: The dining room will host an early lunch as we get closer to Tuan Chau harbour. Once arrived at the harbour, we disembark the Apricot Premium Cruise and head back to Hanoi on the bus.

07:45 - 08:30: Your tour guide will help you load your luggage onto the bus before we begin our eastwards transit to Halong Bay.
12:00 – 12:30: We take the welcome drink presented to us at Tuan Chau harbour and board the Apricot Premium Cruise as it waits for us in the bay.
13:00: Sit down first in the dining room, the location for a fabulous lunch, served as we fire up the engine and begin cruising through the bay.
14:30: The hundreds of hanging and rising rock formations at the Surprising Cave provide us with an excellent activity to marvel at the geological wonders of the bay.
16:00: The next stop is dependent upon the season in which you cruise with us.
- In the summer, we will find ourselves on the crisp golden sands of Titop Island, with a blue ocean in front and a viewing platform high above.
- In the winter, our stop is Tung Sau pearl farm, where we learn about the processes behind pearl production in Halong Bay.
17:00: Back aboard the Apricot Premium Cruise, you will have a chance to meet fellow passengers at the sunset party, with the help of free wine and fruit on the top deck.
19:00: Enjoy a tasty dinner and take your pick of evening entertainment, which includes karaoke or fishing for squid from the tender boat.

06:00: The day starts atop the sundeck, where we will find the tai chi teacher providing a beginners’ lesson in the new morning light.
07:00: We have a tasty breakfast after this and head over to the Apricot Premium day boat, which will be our vessel for much of the second day.
09:00: On our way to Lan Ha Bay, we stop at a wet cave, through which we can kayak and relish the nature around us.
12:00: Lunch will be served in professional style on the day boat.
13:00: Our next stop is Monkey Island. Some of our passengers will stay here until tomorrow, while the remaining passengers will re-board the day boat and head to neighbouring Cat Ba Island.
-Check into the Monkey Island Resort and enjoy a relaxed remainder to the day, with beach sports, a calm shore and a short jungle trek available for activities.

-Rejoin the Apricot Premium day boat and take the transfer to your hotel on Cat Ba Island, where you will be free to spend the late afternoon and evening at your own pace.
In both cases, dinner will be served in your accommodation.

07:00: Take breakfast in your accommodation before the day boat returns to both Monkey Island and Cat Ba Island to take you back to the Apricot Premium Cruise.
08:00: We have plenty of time for cruising around on the last day, so relax and utilise the boat’s wonderful amenities.
11:00: Enjoy the cooking demonstration led by our chef before an early lunch fills us up prior to the ride back to Hanoi.
11:30 - 12:00: At the harbour, we wave goodbye to the Apricot Premium Cruise and take the bus to the capital.
The Apricot Premium Cruise will drop you off in Hanoi, signalling the end to your trip. We always enjoy showing guests to our country the wonders of Halong Bay; it was an honour and we hope to see you soon!
