+ If you stay in hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter: Have breakfast at your hotel and our cruise bus will pick you up from your hotel for 3 hour transfer from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Harbour in Halong City. There will be about 20 minutes for break on the way.
+ If you stay outside of Hanoi Old Quarter: Capella Cruise bus can pick you up at Hanoi Opera House.
You may work with your travel consultant to know if we can pick you up from your hotel by cruise bus or we need a private car to pick you up. Or you can go to Hanoi Opera House by taxi.
11.30 – 11.45: We will arrive at Tuan Chau International Port where we complete check-in procedure.
12.15: Transfer to Capella Cruise by tender boat. Get on board, you will have welcome drink while our Capella Cruise will have briefing about safety instruction and briefing again with itinerary, introduction about cruise. Then, you will check in your cabin for refreshment.
13.00: Enjoy buffet lunch which will be served in Capella Cruise restaurant while we sail to Lan Ha Bay from Halong Bay passing of thousand limestone rocks and limestone mountains raising from the sea.
15.15: We will stop for outdoor activities. You will have chance for kayaking in Halong Bay to get closed to the cliffs and mountains among the bay.
That will be an interesting time on your holiday. This activity is for everyone even people who cannot do swimming because we have life jacket and we will get help of cruise staff and guide.
You also can enjoy the time for swimming at Oasis Pool or enjoy Jacuzzi on cruise or try the Mini-golf course.
17.30: Enjoy the sunset party on Ocean Sky Sundeck with snacks and drinks. Take nice photos of sunset in Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage Site. That is also the time for Happy Hour – buy 1, get 1 for drink.
19.00: You will enjoy dinner with delighted cuisines in Sea Restaurant on Capella Cruise Halong Bay.

08:00: We will take transfer to a day cruise for moving to Cat Ba Island to explore Viet Hai Village.
08:30: Arrive at the pier, you may choose to ride by bicycle or by electric car from pier to Viet Hai Village. On the way, you can take a lot of beautiful photos of the vast rice field or the pristine forest of Cat Ba Island. You can stop for chatting with local people.
Arriving at the village, you will learn more about the history and the culture of local people there and know more about their life on the island. From the pier to Viet Hai Village is about 6 kms.
12:00: Relax and enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant.
14:00: We will get back to our boat and move to a place for swimming, kayaking on the pristine beach.
16:30: Back to the Capella Cruise Halong and enjoy sunset time. That is time for Happy Hour which you can buy 1 get 1 for free.
19:00: Enjoy dinner in Sea Restaurant of Capella Cruise Halong. There are different dishes and there is option for vegetarian food or special request for food which is informed cruise in advance.
20:30: That will be your free time to relax or you can join in some activities like squid fishing to try your luck, board games with your friends or have a drink in Capella Cruise bar.

• More than 31 days prior to check-in (departure date): Free of charge
• From 31 to 16 days prior to check-in (departure date): 10% of total rates

• From 7 to 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. We booked a 3-day, 2-night package on the cruise, which included round-trip shared transfers. It was truly an amazing and relaxing experience for us. Our suite was clean and beautifully presented. The food was absolutely delicious. We also had a lovely conversation with Chris, the manager of Capella. He was both knowledgeable and kind. During our stay, we enjoyed two excursions: a bamboo boat ride to explore the bay's scenery (you can also choose to go kayaking instead), and a bike ride through the village. Both activities were fun and exciting. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone planning to visit Halong Bay!

Overall, it was a very nice trip. The food provided onboard was of good quality and consistently enjoyable. The suite we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean, and the facilities were well maintained. We had a shared transfer to Halong and in the harbor, the staffs picked us up and leaded us to the boat. We had a short ride and transferred to the main Cruise.The decor gives it a luxurious feel! We were lucky to have an upgrade to the owner suite. The staffs were amazing. The food throughout was execellent with buffet for lunch and set menu for the dinner. It was fun to have a stay there, we loved the waterslide so much. Our family had a lovely stay on the ships. We did some research before going to Vietnam and finally chose Capella Cruise. The staffs there were extremely friendly. We met the captain and had a talk with him. Our daughter really wants to visit the cabin and he supported us. We had a lovely photo with him. We like the view at night, dreamy and full of light. We had a 3-day 2-night stay on Capella Cruise. We booked Sky Suite on the 3rd floor, The view is stunning from here. Before travelling, we did a research and had read mixed review about Halong Cruise experience. I still think it was our highlight of our trip. The excursions were good and fun, especially visiting the village, it was very worthwhile, however the cave a bit of let down. The food was ok, the set menu was better than the buffets one. Kayaking in Halong Bay is an experience you will never forget. You can try it even you do not have experience. It is really nice to exprience this with your family.

We just had a 2-day 1 night experience on Capella Cruise. In general, the staff and service were amazing. Our room had a terrace and beautiful ocean view. We value the amazing nature here. Everything was great, but if a few small things were improved, it’d be perfect! There were some fruit flies in our room, I didn't know the exact reason they appeared there (when we open the door to see the view outside or when). I understand Vietnam has subtropical climate and it is normal, but it was great if the staff can prepare something to avoid it.But in general the Cruise is very friendly, from the staff to the guide! OMGGG the Capella Cruise Halong is amazing! I mean it was 1000% worth it! The ship is spotless with modern style. The food served hot and tasted really nice. We have 1 people who is allergy with fish, the staff remembered it and even don't need us to remind once. The day trip was fun with big slide and canoes, even it had a slight rain when we stayed there! I definitelywill recommend this ship to anyone who wants to visit Halong Bay!
