"Smooth Sailing from Tuan Chau"

Orient Legacy Cruise

The entire check-in process at the Tuan Chau Marina lounge was incredibly well-organized, efficient, and we didn’t have to wait around in the heat for long. The ship itself is large, modern, and glides incredibly smoothly across the water, which was a huge relief since my wife gets motion sickness very easily. Our suite was breathtakingly beautiful, and waking up to see the massive limestone cliffs right outside our bedroom window was an unforgettable sight. The transition from the mainland to the deep bay was completely seamless, allowing us to start relaxing the second we boarded.

"Rain Didn’t Ruin Our Trip"

Orient Legacy Cruise

It started raining heavily on our very first afternoon, which meant our planned swimming session at the beach had to be canceled for safety reasons. However, the quick-thinking crew immediately organized an indoor fruit carving and towel folding demonstration inside the main air-conditioned lounge. The indoor public spaces are so grand, beautifully decorated, and comfortable that our group didn’t mind staying inside together at all. The staff worked extra hard to keep the energy positive, serving hot tea and snacks, turning what could have been a gloomy day into a warm, cozy family memory.

"Beautiful Sunset and Squid Fishing"

Orient Legacy Cruise

The panoramic views from this cruise are absolutely spectacular, especially during the late afternoon when the sun begins to set. We caught an incredible golden hour from the top sundeck while enjoying the buy-one-get-one-free drink specials at the bar with a nice background playlist. Later in the evening, the crew set up large green lights and fishing rods at the back of the boat for night squid fishing. We didn’t manage to catch any squid ourselves, but it was a lot of fun chatting, laughing, and sharing travel stories with other international guests under the stars.

"Amazing Cave and Kayak Tour"

Orient Legacy Cruise

The outdoor itinerary on the Orient Leagcy is incredibly well-planned, offering a great mix of adventure without feeling overly rushed or tiring. We spent the first afternoon visiting the famous Dark & Bright Cave on a traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local fisherman, followed by kayaking in a wonderfully quiet lagoon. Our guide spoke excellent English, knew the area perfectly, and shared a lot of fascinating facts about the local ecosystem and floating villages. The ship itself feels brand new, exceptionally stable on the water, and provides a beautiful luxury oasis to return to after a day of exploring.

"The Foodie Review"

Orient Legacy Cruise

If you appreciate good food, you absolutely need to book a trip on the Orient Leagacy because the culinary experience is top-notch. Every lunch and dinner felt like a feast, featuring a beautiful blend of traditional Vietnamese falvors and westen dishes that were presented liek a 5-star restaurant. We also participated in a cooking class on the sundeck, where the chef taught us how to roll fresh spring rolls while making the whole group laugh with his jokes. The bartenders at the rooftop Sky Bar are true prefessionals who make fantasti signature cokctails tailored to your exact taste. You definitely won’t go hungry on this ship!

"Perfect for Older Parents"

Orient Legacy Cruise

I took my elderly parents on the 3-day itinerary, and I was so relieved by how comfortable and accessible everything was for them on this ship. The boat features a modern elevator, which made it incredibly easy for my dad to move between the restaurant, our cabins, and the top deck without struggling with stairs. The tour guide was exceptionally thoughtful, walking slowly next to my parents during the cave excursions and making sure they always had a shaded spot to sit. The kitchen staff even went out of their way to prepare softer, less spicy food options for my mother’s sensitive stomach. Thank you to the wonderful crew for your heartwarming hospitality.

"Solo Traveler Experience"

Orient Legacy Cruise

As a solo traveler, I am always a bit anxious about joining group cruises, but the crew on Orient Legacy made me feel completely welcome and at home from day one. They pay attention to every little detail, checking in one me during meals and ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive. My cabin felt like a luxury boutique hotel room, equipped with a massive glass window and a private jacuzzi tub right next to the bed with a direct view of the sea. The Wi-Fi can get a bit spotty out in the deep waters of the bay, but honestly, it was the perfect excuse to completely unplug, relax, and connect with nature.

"A fun adventure with friends"

Orient Legacy Cruise

I went with a group of four friends last week and we had an absolute blast on board the Orient Legacy. After a long afternoon of active kayaking and exploring hidden lagoons, chilling out in the beautiful onboard swimming pool with a cold drink was pure heaven. The dining experience was another major highlight, serving up massive portions of fresh and local Vietnamese specialties that we all loved. Our tour guide was fantastic, constantly keeping the energy high, sharing funny stories, and helping our group take a million photos at the best viewing spots. It’s the perfect mix of luxury, adventure, and fun for a group getaway.

"A Great anniversary Getaway"

Orient Legacy Cruise

My husband and I booked this cruise to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and it completely exceeded all our expectations. The classic design of the ship is absolutely elegant and creates a romantic atmosphere that looks stunning in photos. We spent our evenings at the Sky Bar on the top deck, sipping cocktails and watching one of the most beautiful golden sunsets we have ever seen over Lan Ha Bay. The absolute highlight was during dinner when the restaurant staff unexpectedly dimmed the lights and brought out a lovely complimentary cake while singing to us. Every single detail, from the ocean-view bathtub to the impeccable hospitality, made our celebration unforgettable.

"The Happy Family Trip"

Orient Legacy Cruise

We just returned from an incredible 2-day trip on the Orient Legacy with our two kids, and it was honestly the best family vacation we’ve had in years. The moment we arrived at the harbor, we were greeted with traditional dragon drums, which was a huge surprise that got the children super excited right from the start. Our family suite was exceptionally spacious, beautifully designed, and featured a wonderful private balcony where we spent hours just watching the stunning limestone islands pass by. The tour guide was incredibly friendly and patient, making sure the kids felt safe and comfortable during the kayaking and swimming activities in the afternoon. If you are traveling with family and want a stress-free, luxurious experience where everyone is happy, this cruise is definitely the perfect choice.
