In over two decades as a professional travel company operating in Halong Bay, The UniCharm Cruise expands its search for beauty to Lan Ha Bay, an area coated in wild and evocative appeal. From its epicenter at Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay stretches to the east. On our 3-day tour, we spend all of the second day on gorgeous Cat Ba exploring the various peaks and tropical parks that provide its most incredible views. This is an itinerary like no other in the bays of Halong or Lan Ha.
As one of Lan Ha Bay’s luxury cruises, the UniCharm Cruise has been meticulously designed to feature highly comfortable travel through balconies in every cabin, universal air con and a service from our wonderful staff, which goes above and beyond. From the sundeck, you will experience a bay in full glory, while enjoying it in your own private luxury.
The driver will arrive at your hotel between 08:00 and 08:30 in order to pick you up and take you to the ferry terminal in Halong.
A ferry and a 20-minute bus drive through the incredible scenery of Halong Bay will transfer us to the majestic and quiet Gia Luon dock, from where the UniCharm Cruise will set sail.
The crew will welcome us on board at about 12:30, serving a wonderful lunch as we begin our cruising into the limestone seascape in front.
We visit a fishing village, where we can kayak or take a sampan boat around the floating rafts with colourful houses secured to them.
We conclude the afternoon by swimming and snorkelling around a quiet lagoon, learning how fishermen still use traditional fishing techniques to make their living in this ancient bay.
The beautiful spectacle of sunset will be best viewed from the sundeck of the UniCharm Cruise, where we will also be holding a cooking class.
Take a seat in the dining room for a wonderful dinner, followed by evening activities including squid fishing and enjoying drinks at the bar.

A light breakfast wills start proceedings for our final day in Lan Ha Bay.
Today’s itinerary is a very relaxed cruising, where you can make use of the UniCharm Cruise’s facilities to fully enjoy the majesty of the bay.
Your last moments on board the UniCharm Cruise will be accompanied by a beautiful lunch, all before we disembark and head back to the Vietnamese mainland via a bus transfer and ferry.

At some point between 08:00 and 08:30, our guide will arrive at your hotel lobby and take you with the other passengers to Lan Ha Bay.
We arrive to the terminal and catch the ferry to Lan Ha Bay, where we take the beautifully scenic drive to Gia Luan dock and meet the UniCharm Cruise in its clear blue waters.
We will be welcomed onto the cruise at around 12:30 and allowed to explore the vessel before a delicious lunch is provided in the dining room.
An afternoon of relaxing on the boat is enhanced when we climb into our kayaks and explore a local fishing village, where locals live in floating houses on the water.
We stop next at a quiet lagoon, where swimming, snorkelling and visiting a nearby island will be the order for the rest of the afternoon.
During a magnificent sunset, our chef will come out to teach us the culinary ways of the Vietnamese with a cooking class.
An excellent dinner will come before the evening rolls in. Enjoy it with some moonlit squid fishing or simply by watching the shimmering bay from your cabin or the sundeck.

At 7:00, we start our new day in Lan Ha Bay with a wonderful light breakfast.
We take the tender boat to Viet Hai village on Cat Ba island, where we will dock and jump onto bicycles for an excellent tour of the village and its gorgeous forested surroundings. We take a trek through a cave to explore more of the natural wonders of Cat Ba island.
Returning to the cruise, we enjoy the transfer to Cat Ba town and Canon Fort, a gorgeous spot where we get a great view of Lan Ha Bay stretching on all sides.
We take lunch at around 11:30 before proceeding on bus to the centre of the island.
Here we will find Cat Ba National Park and the Ngu Lam peak, to which we will hike and enjoy its perfect panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
At 16:00, we head back to the UniCharm cruise and enjoy swimming, snorkelling and kayaking.
The second dinner of the tour will be served, after which you are free to enjoy our evening activities or social drinks at the bar.

We can enjoy the peaceful morning scene of Lan Ha Bay with breakfast in the dining room.
We have the whole of the morning to relax on the boat, so take it slowly on the sundeck or in your cabin as we cruise.
At 10:00, we will begin our cruising back to the harbour, serving a filling brunch as we get closer.
At Tuan Chau harbour, we leave the UniCharm Cruise and drive back through wild and evocative Halong, arriving at the ferry terminal to head back to the mainland. We continue onto Hanoi from here.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 31 days prior to check-in (departure date): Free of charge
• From 31 to 16 days prior to check-in (departure date): 10% of total rates
• From 15 to 8 days prior to check-in (departure date): 20% of total rates
• From 7 to 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, the following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1-night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance.
