We chose the Treasure Junk for our Vietnam trip because of the smaller group size, the option of staying on the boat for the whole 3-day, 2-night trip, and the much less crowded experience than other cruises. We did better than we had hoped on every front. We were just 15 guests, creating an intimate and personalized atmosphere throughout the journey. The small size allowed us to really connect with our fellow travelers and the attentive crew, who went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The activities were fun and well structured from kayaking to finding hidden caves. But the real highlight was the amazing dining experience. Each meal featured 8 different Vietnamese dishes, showcasing the incredible diversity and flavors of the local Vietnamese cuisine.

So glad we booked with Treasure Junk for such a unique and quieter experience in Bai Tu Bay, instead of the other bigger cruise ships in Halong Bay. First of all, this boat was beautifully decorated with traditional Vietnamese details, especially our suite room; we really enjoyed it. We loved the private balcony, which was one of the highlights of our stay, as we got to enjoy the magnificent views of the bay early in the morning. The food was delicious, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the service was attentive. Activities like kayaking, spa services, and morning Tai Chi classes only added to the uniqueness of the experience. Best of all was the incredibly friendly and courteous crew who anticipated our every need and made us feel very special. We are so grateful for all their hard work to make this an unforgettable adventure.

If you want to experience the magic of the bay without the big crowds of tourists, the best decision you can make is to book a Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise with Treasure Junk. The ship takes an incredible, off-the-beaten-path route that’s totally exclusive. The traditional wooden junk design is charming, giving a true best-boutique cruise feel. Our kayaking tour Halong experience through the calm lagoons was absolutely stunning. The crew was exceptionally warm, and the food was fresh and delicious. For an authentic and serene luxury cruise in Halong Bay, this is a 10/10!

After considering many options, we decided to chose the 3 day 2 night tour with the Treasure Junk cruise, and it was absolutely worth it. The boat is charming; cabins are cozy and well-equipped. The itinerary was well-paced - time to relax on the deck, kayak, and explore caves—nothing felt rushed. Sailing through Bai Tu Long was a highlight - the scenery is breathtaking and far less crowded than Halong Bay’s main routes. The crew was very friendly and helpful at all times. Food was plentiful and tasty, served quickly. If you want a balanced mix of relaxation and unique scenery, Treasure Junk is a perfect choice. I hope in the future Treasure Junk cruise will have longer itinerary for Treasure Junk like 5 day 4 night tour.

We chose Treasure Junk for a quieter alternative to Halong Bay, and it was the best decision we made. Bai Tu Long Bay is so tranquil and unspoiled - no crowds, just stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters. The boat itself is lovely boutique style, beautifully designed with traditional wooden touches but still very comfortable. Warm and attentive throughout the journey, genuinely caring. This is the right place if you want an authentic relaxing cruise, far from mass tourism.

After reading about how busy Halong Bay can be, we decided to choose Treasure Junk in Bai Tu Long Bay - and we are so glad we did. The scenery is just as spectacular but much more serene. No traffic of boats, just peaceful nature all around. The junk boat itself is beautifully maintained, with a classic and elegant boutique style. The atmosphere on board was calm and relaxing, and the team delivered excellent service with a personal touch. A perfect gateway if you want tranquility and authenticity.
