7.30 – 12.00 Once the driver has met you at your hotel lobby, they will take you to Halong Bay via the smooth highway through the Red River Delta.
12.00 – 13.00 We board the Pelican Cruise and enjoy the welcome drink that comes with this.
13.00 – 19.30 Our first meal on board is an excellent lunch, served as you enjoy the initial sights of the bay.
We learn of the processes of pearl production at Tung Sau pearl farm, set amidst the gorgeous scenery of Halong Bay.
Active and relaxed passengers alike will enjoy our next stop, Titop island, famous for its chances to unwind on the beach or the sea and its available hike to the top of the island.
We head over to Luon Bo, our relaxed sleeping area, while an exciting cooking class accompanies our transit. The spa is now open for bookings, so contact the cruise manager if you would like to make one.
19.30 – 23.00 The night descends on Halong Bay as we settle down to a delicious dinner.
We have movies and board games available for after-dinner activity, along with squid fishing, available to try off the tender boat at the back of the Pelican Cruise.

06.00 – 08.00 We have a beginners’ tai chi class on the top deck. This is a great way to experience the beautiful morning light of Halong Bay.
The dining room will host a delicious breakfast as we get ready for a new day.
08.00 – 11.30
We dock at Sung Sot cave, one of the most spectacular caves in Halong Bay, with a wealth of interesting and shapely rock formations.
Back aboard the Pelican Cruise, you have a chance to relax for the last few hours and take a buffet lunch as we approach the harbour.
Disembark the Pelican Cruise and board the bus that goes back to Hanoi, where we arrive in the late afternoon.

Meals:
7.30 – 12.00 The shuttle bus of the Pelican Cruise will arrive to your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and transfer you to Halong city.
12.00 – 13.00 The cruise awaits after we have collected our welcome drink in the Pelican welcome lounge.
13.00 – 19.30 A wonderful lunch kicks off the cruise in style as we weigh anchor and voyage straight into the limestone maze ahead.
The Tung Sau pearl farm lies ahead of us. We have time to relax into the cruise before disembarking at the farm and learning more about the processing of these valuable gems.
We head next to the island of Titop, the bay’s most famous and a great place for swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing to the island’s peak.
We take the cruise over to Luon Bo, where we will drop anchor for the night amid the audience of forested mountains.
From this point onwards, you may book into the spa with the cruise manager.
A cooking class run by our talented chef will help us to learn more about the world of Vietnamese cuisine.
We take a delicious barbecue dinner in the dining room.
19.30 – 23.00 For evening entertainment, you can join fellow passengers in the restaurant for movie night, or head outside to try squid fishing from the tender boat.

06.00 – 08.30 Those up early should join the tai chi class that we will be holding on the sundeck. This will be accompanied by hot beverages and pastries.
08.30 – 19.30 Once we have boarded the day boat, we will make our first stop at Cua Van fishing village, where families of fishermen live atop floating rafts tied to each other. We can tour the village via sampan boat.
At Me Cung cave, we explore the well-lit insides and discover the evidence of some of Halong Bay’s earliest settlers.
A lovely lunch will welcome us back onto the day boat in the early afternoon.
Following this, we take the slow passage back to the Pelican Cruise, where we can relax on the sundeck or in the cabins.
Happy hour and another cooking demonstration will keep us entertained as the afternoon turns to evening.
19.30 – 23.00 The dining room is the place to be for another resplendent dinner this afternoon.
Relax into another peaceful night on the ship. You can try board games with the crew or visit the bar to celebrate another beautiful day in Halong Bay.

06.00 – 08.00 There will be one more tai chi session held atop the sundeck. Make the most of this before a light breakfast in the dining room.
08.00 – 11.30
We cruise over to Sung Sot Cave, exploring its interior and the magical stalactite and stalagmite formations that we find here.
The Pelican Cruise makes its return to Tuan Chau harbour while we enjoy a filling brunch on board.
Wave farewell to the crew as we step off the boat and head back to Hanoi with the use of our comfortable shuttle bus.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. In all cases, please contact our travel consultant via email or phone for support. We are always willing to provide you with any assistance you may need on or off board.
