08.00 – 08.30 AM: You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by sharing limousine van or your private car/van/bus the 2.5-hour transfer from Hanoi to Halong City.

Day 1: Ha Long - Starting Point of Heritage Bay - Thien Canh Son - Cap La (L, D)
8.00-8.30: Get pick up at your hotel in the Old Quater. Transfer to Halong Bay for Grand Pioneers Cruise by Sharing limousine van or private car, van or bus.

11:30–12.00: Arrive at the Grand Pioneers Waiting Lounge, check in for cruise and start the Legacy Journey.
12.30: Procedures for embarking, start the Heritage Journey with Grand Pioneers Cruise. Guests are served with a welcome drink and can take in the breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay through iconic sites including Dragon Rock, Dinh Huong Rock, and Kissing Rocks.
13.00: You will enjoy the lunch at the restaurant Dining By The Bay. There are different dishes and the food is prepared carefully by Grand Pioneers Cruise chefs. There is options for vegetarian or any specilal request for food ( Please inform us in advance).
14:00: Relaxing and experience the cruise's amenities and activities.
15:30- 17.00: We will visit Thien Canh Son Cave - the first stop on the tour. Thien Canh Son Cave is one of most beautiful caves in Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. The meaning of Thien Canh Son is Heaven Mountain Scenery. This archaic and distinctive cave is located in Bai Tu Long Bay.
Enjoy beach time at Ban Chan Beach and kayaking in Bai Tu Long Bay here.
17.30: On the way to the "sleeping spot" at the Cap La area, which is the best spot to see the most breathtaking sunsets amid the expansive and magnificent natural landscape of the bay, enhanced by an unforgettable sunset party on the sundeck. That is the most beautiful time of a day, take a sip of a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the bay. Take advantage of Happy Hour when you buy 2 drinks and get 1 for free.
After that, you will enjoy your free time on boat, you can do swimming in the four seasoned pool or you can work out at the gym.

Day 2: Cap La – Final Point of Heritage Bay – Da Xep Nature Park – Trong Cave (B, L, D)
7:30 AM: Breakfast at the Dining by the Bay restaurant. The cruise sets sail, taking guests to beautiful spots in Bai Tu Long Bay which is unique. It is not a popular itinerary for most of travelers so you do not feel noisy or crowed here.
9:30 AM: We’ll visit Dragon Island (Xuong Rong Island). Picture an island with white sandy beaches and rolling mountains—it looks like a dragon’s head! The lake there even looks like two dragon eyes, both as green as jade.
After that, you’ll check in at a special marker that shows the final boundary of the Heritage site.
10:00 AM: We’ll explore the last islands in the Heritage area, which is the entrance to Halong Bay. Our stop is Da Xep Nature Park—an outdoor museum that’s been around for a whopping 320 million years!
You can choose from two activities:
- Explore Da Xep Nature Park, where large stone blocks are stacked like an Egyptian pyramid in a peaceful space.
- Wander along one of the area’s beaches, with long white sands connecting majestic rocky mountains (depending on the tides).
12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch time at the Dining by the Bay restaurant.
14:30: We’ll visit Vung Vieng Fishing Old Village which is called a fairyland of Halong Bay, this is an ancient village with colorful small house, you can also see the seafood farming area.
16:00: More exploring! We’ll check out Phao Dai Rock, Tien Ong Cave, and Con Coc Rock—These are evidence of the ancient cultural values of the Vietnamese people.
19:00: It’s time for The Legacy Gala Dinner—a party onboard!
21:00: Enjoy the nighttime view of the bay and explore entertainment activities and services on the cruise.
Day 3: Sung Sot Cave - Titop Island - Tuan Chau Habor – Hanoi (B, Brunch)

You will begin your day by soaking in the breathtaking sunrise over the bay, followed by a relaxing breakfast at Dining By The Bay restaurant. That is beautiful time to get clean air in a beautiful place of Halong Bay.
07:30: Choose Your Morning Adventure
Select one of the two exciting activities to wrap up your Ha Long Bay journey:
Option 1: Visit Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most stunning cave in the bay, known for its impressive rock formations.
Option 2: Hike to the top of Titov Island for a panoramic view of the bay, followed by a refreshing swim at the island’s beach.

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.

Thank you so much. Grand Pionneers Halong Bay pick you up from Hanoi Old Quarter and drop you off at Hanoi Old Quarter if you use sharing bus with us. If you book a private car/van or bus then we can pick you up from most of the places in Hanoi but madke sure it is not too far from the center so we can pick you up easily and not late for the cruise.

To book for cinema room you need to go on Grand Pioneer II. Grand Pioneer II is used for 3 Day 2 Night Legacy Itinerary and in 2025 it start on every Monday and end at every Wendnesday. So, you need to book 3 day 2 night Legacy from Monday to Wendnesday to book Cinema Room. For other days you can can book 2 Day 1 Night or 3 day 2 night classic itinerary and you have chance to book Cinema room in case that cruise is avaialble.

However, Vietmam Escape Tours can arrange the transfer from Noi Bai Airport to the cruise but you need to make sure you get out of the airport before 8.30 AM. That is to make sure we have safe time for transfer to Halong. However, we do not advise to go to Halong right after your arrival at the airport because the flight can be delayed any time.

Right after we stepped on the crusie tender, we knew this would be an amazing and memorable trip. The service was excellent! The cruise staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. He spoke very good English and tried to keep us entertained on tender. The food was served with a lot of varieties, all fresh and delicious. I am a vegeterian and there were many good options to eat. We also loved the excursions on the trip, go kayaking, swimming and cave explore etc… And at night we had live music, dinner entertainments and close up magic show. If you have the time, I would highly recommend taking the 3 days / 2 nights trip as the itinerary was a perfect mix of activities and time on the boat!

I've been in Ha Long Bay 3 times and each time I've tried to book different cruises to experience every star levels as many as possible. But for me the amount of money I spend for a solo trip to do the Grand Pioneers cruses this time is big and very very worth it. It maybe 6 stars I think haha. The transport of this cruise is a business van, very luxury, it took me 3 hours drive from our Rex hotel to the waiting lounge and rest with some drinks and sweets. I then was transferred by a speed boat to the big cruise, because it's too big to go to be near the small habour. From the outside, I saw that the cruise was so huge and stunning in the sun of Vietnam's summertime. Clear sky, gentle breeze, beautiful view and all the activities made my time on the ocean was even more pleasant and memorable! My massive room had a balcony which I loved the most during my whole trip in this beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay. The meals were perfect! Nothing to complaint about although I had a stomach ache, the crew helped me with my personal meals request as well. This suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The cruise’s decor was luxurious and modern, and our daughter especially loved the Kid Club on board. The itinerary was a perfect mix of relaxation and activity, well arranged, suitable for adults and kid. We particularly enjoyed visiting Sung Sot Cave and kayaking. All guests were required to wear life jackets, which made us feel very secure, especially we with our kid. Our guide took great care of us and explained everything clearly and in detail.
