As the finest of all rooms aboard the Perla Dawn, the Grand Suite cabins have a huge amount of space, including a separate working area with desk. A balcony at the back contains reclining sunbeds and a sofa, while the adjacent bathroom offers huge views of the bay from the bathtub or rainfall shower.

The Perla Dawn Sails is one of the pioneering luxury cruises in Lan Ha Bay, offering a reclusive cruising experience for an affordable price. We feature comfort at every corner throughout our modern ship, in the cabins, restaurant, bar and atop the sundeck, with the option of a massage treatment available from our spa room.
Our iconic junk boat design contains four beautiful sails, slicing proudly through the wind of a beautiful and largely untouched land. Lan Ha Bay stretches its verdant green beauty for miles, with the vast majority of tour boats choosing instead to operate in Halong or Bai Tu Long bays. The serenity afforded by our sailing is a prime feature of a cruise with the Perla Dawn Sails, one which our wonderful staff will enhance with friendliness and an overall desire for you to enjoy this small section of our beautiful homeland.
Lan Ha Bay is a destination awaiting your arrival, and the Perla Dawn Sails can take you there in style.
08:30 – 09:00: The tour guide will load your luggage onto the bus outside your hotel. Your transfer to Tuan Chau Harbour will follow.
12:00 - 12:30: At the harbour, you will find the Perla Dawn Sails waiting in the water. We board it and take a wonderful welcome drink around the ship.
13:00 – 14:00: The restaurant is a great place to enjoy our first delicious lunch and the panoramic sight of Lan Ha Bay through the wall-length windows.
15:15 – 17:15: We will be able to swim and kayak around the Tra Bau area, taking in the sights of the tranquil bay and watching fishermen as they make their living in the traditional manner that still prevails in this ancient land.
17:00 – 18:45: Back aboard the Perla Dawn Sails, a cooking demonstration and happy hour at the bar will bring a lively atmosphere to our cruising.
19:00: We sit down for dinner in the sparkling restaurant, enjoying a traditional music performance directly afterwards. End the evening with squid fishing, drinks at the bar or simple relaxation in your cabin or on the sundeck.

06:00 – 06:30: Tai chi will wake us up this morning as we take in the beautiful outside scene from the sundeck.
07:00 – 08:45: A light breakfast will precede our sailing over to the Dark and Bright Caves, two opposing systems that back onto a wonderful lake enclosed by limestone spires on all sides.
09:00 – 11:30: The Perla Dawn Sails will take us back in a leisurely manner to the harbour, serving a full brunch along the way.
11:45 – 12:00: Disembark the Perla Dawn Sails and sit back for the drive back from the harbour to capital. End of a 2 days 1 night trip in Ha Long Bay.

08:30 – 09:00: Await collection from the driver at your hotel lobby. The quick transfer to Halong City, Tuan Chau Harbour will begin once you are on the bus.
12:00 - 12:30: We receive a welcome drink while stepping onto the Perla Dawn Sails at Got harbour. Explore your new surrounds as we set sail.
13:00 – 14:00: Enjoy the delicious lunch as you take in the views of the bay from outside the large restaurant windows.
15:15 – 17:15: We head first to the area of Tra Bau, where a fisherman will show us the ancient way to catch fish – still largely the preferred method today.
17:00 – 18:45: Returning to the Perla Dawn Sails, we enjoy happy hour and the sight of a magnificent sunset descending behind the mountains. Our chef will emerge from the kitchen to show us the correct technique to rolling spring rolls in an engaging cooking class.
19:00: Take a delicious dinner in the dining room or outside, all while traditional music performances from our multi-talented staff introduce you to attractive Vietnamese musical culture. After this, feel free to enjoy the evening at the spa, bar or by chatting with our friendly crew.

06:30 – 07:00: A tai chi session will start the day off from the sundeck, led by our onboard cruise manager/tai chi guru.
07:15 – 08:30: Head downstairs after this to enjoy an excellent breakfast in the dining room.
09:00 – 11:00: We board the day boat and cruise over to the magnificent Cat Ba Island, docking at its northern end to discover the village of Viet Hai. We explore the attractive commune and its lush surroundings on a cycling tour, looking out for mischievous langur monkeys along the way.
12:00 – 13:30: Take a relaxing lunch on the day boat to recuperate before heading onto Ba Ham Lake.
13:30 - 15:30: At Ba Ham Lake, we find a tranquil body of water surrounded on all sides by limestone towers. We can swim and kayak around the area, checking out the wealth of majestic nature in the forested mountains and the wealth of vibrant sea life below.
16:00: Back aboard the Perla Dawn Sails, we freshen up for dinner with another happy hour during sunset and another cooking class led by our chef.
19:00: Sit down in the dining room for one more gorgeous evening meal, followed by the nighttime at your leisure. Squid fishing is one of the fun activities we can host on the tender boat at the back of the Perla Dawn Sails.

06:00 – 06:30: Tai chi is available from the top deck for those awake in the morning time.
07:00 – 08:00: Enjoy the light breakfast in the dining room as the new day’s sunshine glides slowly over the limestone rocks around us.
08:15 – 08:45: We take a bamboo rowing boat through the Dark & Bright Caves this morning. We will emerge on the other side of the caves in a lake filled with natural splendour.
09:00 – 11:30: An excellent buffet lunch will accompany your cruise back to the harbour, filling us up before we return to Hanoi.
11:45 – 12:00: Leave the Perla Dawn Sails for the last time and wave a goodbye to the friendly staff as you do so. The bus will be awaiting our arrival so that we can head back to Hanoi in comfort. This signal is the end of your 3 days 2 nights in Halong Bay.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 31 days prior to check-in (departure date): Free of charge
• From 31 to 16 days prior to check-in (departure date): 10% of total rates
• From 15 to 8 days prior to check-in (departure date): 20% of total rates
• From 7 to 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than 4 days prior to check-in (departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. In all cases, please contact our travel consultant via email or phone for support. We are always willing to provide you with any assistance you may need on or off board.
