I have traveled extensively through Asia, and the hospitality on Larissa Cruise ranks right at the top. We did the 3-day, 2-night tour. On the second day, my partner felt slightly unwell due to the heat, and the crew went completely out of their way to bring hot ginger tea, light meals, and medicine directly to our room, checking on him constantly. Their genuine care and kindness meant the world to us. The scenery of the bay is beautiful, but the people on this boat are what we will remember most.

You cannot visit Vietnam without seeing Halong Bay, and Larissa Cruise is the way to do it. Our 2-day, 1-night trip was packed with highlights. Hiking up to the peak of Ti Top Island for that iconic panoramic view was exhausting but totally worth it. Swimming in the bay afterwards was so refreshing. The cabins are air-conditioned perfectly, which was great because the summer heat can be intense. The service, the food, and the views were all world-class.

We are slow travelers and usually dislike guided tours, but Larissa Cruise changed our minds. We took the 3-day, 2-night cruise and loved the relaxed pace. There was no pressure to join every activity; if we wanted to sleep in or just sit on our balcony with a book, the staff respected that. The sailing was incredibly smooth - I usually get seasick but didn’t feel a thing. This is the perfect place to quiet your mind and just enjoy the majestic natural beauty of Vietnam.

My Instagram feed has never looked better! Every corner of Larissa Cruise is photogenic—from the stylish bar area to the wide-open sundeck and the circular windows in the cabins. We took the 2-day, 1-night cruise and got so many incredible shots of the sunset and the emerald green waters. Aside from the looks, the boat is very functional and clean. The staff even helped me set up a surprise birthday cake for my friend. Highly recommend for younger travelers and couples!

There is nothing quite like being in the middle of the bay at night when all the day boats leave. We opted for the 3-day, 2-night cruise, and the evening atmospheres were incredible. After a fantastic dinner, everyone gathered on the top deck for stargazing, drinks, and board games. It was so peaceful and quiet. The second day’s excursion to the floating village gave us a beautiful glimpse into the local lifestyle. Larissa Cruise offers a perfect balance of luxury, culture, and nature.

If you're short on time in Vietnam, the 2 days 1 night itinerary on Larissa Cruise is the ultimate way to see the bay without losing precious travel days. The limousine pickup from the Old Quarter was comfortable with good AC and USB chargers. Once on board, the check-in was swift. We loved the bamboo boat rowing option because we didn’t want to kayak ourselves. The evening squid fishing was highly addictive, even though we didn't catch anything! A solid, highly professional cruise experience.

The karst topography of Halong Bay is mesmerizing, and there is no better vantage point than the sundeck of this vessel. We spent the 3 days 2 nights itinerary simply admiring the towering cliffs. The tour guide on Larissa was exceptionally knowledgeable, explaining the geological history of the caves we visited. The bed in our cabin was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had a high-pressure rain shower which was great after a long day of kayaking. A very well-run operation!"

What truly sets Larissa Cruise apart from others is the staff. They remember your name, how you like your coffee in the morning, and always greet you with the biggest smiles. We chose the 2-day, 1-night option. The itinerary was packed with great activities like visiting a local pearl farm and exploring Sung Sot Cave, but we never felt rushed. The cabin design is gorgeous—very elegant wooden details with modern amenities. I’ll be recommending this to all my friends visiting Vietnam."

If you have picky teens, you know how hard it is to plan a family vacation. We booked the 3 days 2 nights package on Larissa and it kept my 14 and 16-year-olds completely entertained. They loved the kayaking through the dark caves, jumping off the side of the boat into the bay, and the sunset party music. The cabins were interconnected which gave us the perfect balance of privacy and family time. Big shoutout to the cruise guides for being so energetic and engaging with the kids!

I’ve heard stories about Halong Bay being overcrowded, but Larissa Cruise takes a fantastic route that avoids the massive tourist traps. We did the 2 days 1 night cruise and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the overnight anchoring spot was. The boat itself is modern, super clean, and feels very boutique rather than a massive, noisy ferry. The Tai Chi session at 6:30 AM as the sun rose over the mountains was a core memory for me. Definitely worth booking!

To celebrate a decade of marriage, my husband booked the 3-day, 2-night cruise in an executive suite. Larissa Cruise made us feel so special from start to finish. They surprised us with a beautiful flower arrangement and a complimentary bottle of wine in our cabin upon arrival. Waking up to the panoramic views of the misty bay right from our bed was magical. The staff, especially the cruise manager, went above and beyond to ensure our trip was romantic and stress-free. We will cherish these memories forever.

I needed a break from the chaotic streets of Hanoi, so I booked a last-minute 2-day, 1-night stay on Larissa. It was exactly what I needed to recharge. The vibe on the boat is incredibly peaceful. I spent my afternoon reading on the sundeck loungers and enjoying the 2-for-1 happy hour cocktails. The staff was incredibly warm and made sure I never felt lonely, even inviting me to join the squid fishing crew at night. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but honestly, it was a blessing to disconnect.

As someone who travels mainly for food, I was highly impressed by the culinary team on Larissa Cruise. We did the 2-day, 1-night tour, and every single meal was a masterpiece. They served a massive seafood buffet lunch, a fine-dining course dinner with fusion Vietnamese-Western options, and a lovely breakfast. They also accommodated my gluten-free diet without any issues. The cooking class on the sundeck where we learned to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls was a super fun touch!

Do yourself a favor and do NOT rush this experience. We originally looked at the shorter trips but eventually decided on the 3 days 2 nights itinerary with Larissa Cruise, and it was the best decision of our entire Vietnam vacation. The second day was the highlight: we boarded a smaller day boat and went deeper into Lan Ha Bay where there were barely any other tourists. We kayaked through hidden lagoons and swam in crystal-clear waters. The crew treated us like royalty. 10/10!

We were a bit skeptical about which cruise to choose since there are hundreds of options, but Larissa Cruise completely blew us away. We booked the 2-day, 1-night package and felt it was the perfect introduction to the bay. From the moment the limousine bus picked us up in Hanoi to the final drop-off, everything was seamless. The cabin was incredibly spacious with a private balcony where we watched the sunset over the limestone karsts. If you only have a weekend, this short getaway is a must-do.
