Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience on this Catherine cruise for 3 days and 2 nights. I can say that the staff at the lounge where we waited to board the big cruise and the crew on board were very friendly, kind and always willing to help when we needed. Having been on many cruises in Halong Bay and I have to say that I loved Catherine the most, it made me love it from the beginning to the end of the trip. A big thank you to Marcus for such a great job, he served us very well, from his kindness to his extensive knowledge of the islands we visited, we learned a lot about the beauty and history of this bay. He also took beautiful photos for us, we will always remember his dedication and professionalism in every detail that he brought, which allowed me to fully enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. Besides, the food was great, from European to Asian dishes, we enjoyed it very much. The big pool was also great, we love cruises with such big pools.

The trip with Catherine was so much fun! The room was very good and comfortable too. I just wish we had a little more time for swimming. The Titop island was so beautiful that I wanted to stay longer. There, if you do not wish to go swimming on beach you can hike to the top of the mountain for the view of Halong Bay. Rus was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and spoke so gently. He was truly the best! i loved visiting the Sung Sot Cave and go kayaking in Halong Bay. they were inredible. We booked the cruise with the pick-up from our hotel in Hanoi and they could dropped us off at Noi Bai aiport with the shuttle limousine. It was very good as we did not have to go back to Hanoi but we could go directly to Hanoi airport.

Van – Excellent! Nice Cruise (August 2025) I absolutely loved Catherin cruise! It was great fun with lots of activities and a well-organized schedule. More than that, the service and the Catherine Cruise staffs were incredibly kind and welcoming. We were treated very well. A special thanks to Van, our butler, who was truly outstanding – super kind, super nice, and always so helpful. He went above and beyond to take care of all our requests (even the extravagant ones!) and always took the time to make sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t be more grateful to have had him with us. Ella was also wonderful in organizing activities, and Tim, the manager, did an excellent job leading the team. Honestly, the entire staff worked so hard and made our trip unforgettable. Cabin on Catherine Cruise is luxury with private balcony and it has very nice swimming pool which could help you to enjoy the trip so much in your free time. We love the time staying on the sampan boat rowed by local people around the bay. Food on the cruise was excellent and even Halal food is available on Catherine Cruise. My trip on Catherine Cruise left me with a wonderful memory. The staffs on Catherine cruise were so helpful and they took care of us a lot. They were not only warm and attentive throughout the our journey but also secretly prepared a surprise birthday celebration for my mother as we traveled this time with my family. This is a good cruise for family i think as it has some family cabins which can acommdate 3 or 4 people. Everything was arranged with great care, from the lovely cake and cozy decorations to the heartfelt wishes. We had feeling both surprised and happy. Catherine offered an amazing cruise experience with very luxury 5 star cabin with balcony. We loved kayaing in the beautiful baay. This is definitely a memory I will treasure forever. I’m a solo traveler who loves exploring nature, and after some research Catherine Cruise caught my eye. Their itinerary covers all the major highlights of Halong Bay, so I decided to book the 3d2n trip. Throughout the journey, I managed to take plenty of photos and videos for my documentary, yet still had enough time to slow down and enjoy everything the cruise offered. The staff onboard were always kind and welcoming, making me feel at home. One of the highlights was Marcus, whose deep knowledge of Halong Bay really brought the scenery to life. The way he told the stories made the history and culture so vivid and memorable. Some spots, like Luon Cave, were a bit crowded, but once I kayaked through, I understood why, it was breathtaking, like stepping into a hidden world. Incredible 3D2N experience on board with Catherine cruise team in Ha Long bay that we would have never forgotten! I want to say that what we liked the most about the cruise is the exeptional services which make them stand out from others. The crew were so welcoming and attentive from the reception to the tour guides, the servants and the whole team. Thanks Phu - our personal butler, he was surprisingly helpful, kind when taking care of us from the meals, notes about our diets to the delicious soups for our child. He wanted to make everything perfect for us and other customers. I've heard that Catherine is a 6 stars cruise and we think it's true. It was not a very large cruise with many customers, we do had more spaces in our own room and the cruise itself. A large balcony with a comfortable and comfy bed room at the second deck. And we're happy that we book 2 nights on board because I talked to other guest and they said 1 night for them wasn't enough to enjoy both the scenery and the room. We didn't have to be rushed during the whole trip and really enjoyed everything moments here. We enjoyed the Tai Chi lesson perfectly with Luu and Lucky, they made our activity very special and memorable. We also tried all activities in the itinerary an absolutely loved it. All in all, such a meaningful trip for our beloved family with th team, we were taken care very well and will recommend it to our friends.

We had 1 night trip on Catherine cruise and we wish to have more time here because the services are perfectly standing out! We had our own butler service during the meals and Mia serve us very well. She shared a lot about Vietnamese cuisine from the shrimp floss, jelly vegetable, Vietnamese kimchi, that was so lovely of her. Our whole trip as enjoyable, unforgettable, feel like a superstar here haha. Ashley was nice too, she taught us to make Vietnamese pancakes and followed us to some more activities, she was so cute and professional. Thanks so much! Please pay attention that even on a expensive and nice cruise as Catherine, the Wifi would not work well when you're far away form the harbour so it means that you would be our of connect with the world sometimes. But it was not a big deal with us because it was a great chance to immerse in the beautiful nature in the bay without being disturbed from some texts or calls. So please be prepared to announce with your family, friends, co-workers so that they could know it before they couldn't contact you. Nothing to comment more about the cruise itself and our cabin because the price said it all. Perfect and spotless from the view we got, the amenities on board, the drinks, the services we got during just 1 night here. We were definitely satisfied and will get back next time with our entire family for our birthday in Jan. We just wish to have more time but we have to get back because our busy work.
