As one of the smaller deluxe cruises in Halong Bay, our ship and itinerary promotes an intimate time spent in the company of loved ones, new friends and an engaging crew, all of whom add immeasurably to a fantastic and truly memorable experience. The additional space created by having just 12 cabins on board opens up the wonders of this magisterial seascape, also allowing you to experience its isolated beauty in your own isolation.
12:00 – 12:30 We will meet at L’Azalee waiting lounge. You will be able to board the cruise shortly afterwards.
12:45 – 14:00 Check out the surroundings of L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise before a lunch is served in the restaurant.
14:45 We begin our cruising through the limestone maze of Halong Bay and arrive at Sung Sot Cave, one of the more famous of Halong Bay’s caves, with sparkling rock formations glistening in the colourful light that illuminates them.
16:30 – 17:30 We head next to Titop Island, a popular island with many activities in which to participate. These include relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea or hiking up to the top of the island for a panoramic view from the peak.
18:00 – 18:30 A cooking class back aboard L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise will introduce us to some of the food culture of Vietnam. We head towards our overnight anchorage point as the night befalls the bay.
19:00 – 21:00 An excellent dinner will come before an evening of many available activities, some of which include squid fishing or enjoying some social drinks at the bar.

06:00 – 08:00 We will hold a tai chi session atop the sundeck as we greet a new day in Halong Bay.
07:00 Eat a light breakfast below as we prepare to set sail.
08:30 We will have some time to explore around Tung Sau pearl farm, where the bay’s precious gems are refined. We can take the option to kayak around here as well.
09:45 Upon returning to L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise, you will be able to relax before a filling brunch.
10:00 – 11:00 Brunch will be served in the restaurant on the cruise back to the harbour.
11:30 Leave L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise in the harbour and take your onward travel from here.

12:00 – 12:30 At Tuan Chau Harbour in Halong Bay, we meet L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise and board to discover the wonders within.
12:45 – 14:00 Your first meal on board will be a delicious lunch. We sail through the initial stages of Halong Bay’s limestone maze as we eat.
14:45 We head first to Sung Sot Cave, translating to the ‘Surprising Cave’ for the wonderful rock formations found within.
16:15 – 17:15 Nearby the cave lies our next destination, Tung Sau pearl farm, where we will learn more about the history and current practices of Halong Bay’s fascinating pearl trade.
18:00 – 18:30 While the sun begins to set beyond the limestone mountains, a cooking demonstration will be run by our talented chef.
19:00 – 21:00 Eat a gorgeous and very fresh dinner in the dining room before taking the rest of the evening as your free time. You will be able to try squid fishing or watch a movie for your entertainment tonight.

06:00 Atop the sundeck this morning, a tai chi session will be held and run by our very own onboard tai chi master.
07:00 Downstairs, a full breakfast will be served. A transfer to the day boat follows this, on which we will begin our cruising to some of Halong Bay’s lesser-visited attractions.
08:00 The first of such attractions is Luon Cave, a majestic corridor of water that opens up beautifully to the lake that backs onto it, enclosed by soaring limestone karsts.
09:00 We continue cruising along less-visited routes on our way to the Fairy Lake Cave, spotting various other caves such as Trong and Trinh Nu along the way.
11:00 At Fairy Lake Cave, we take an informative walking tour, noting the rock formations and hearing of the various fairy-based legends attached to them.
11:30 – 13:00 A gorgeous lunch will be served on the day boat as we continue our explorations.
14:00 Me Cung Cave gives us a great insight into some of the earliest human habitation in Halong Bay across its ancient and beautiful walls.
15:45 – 16:00 Back aboard L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise, we begin our cruise to our overnight sleeping area.
18:00 Two demonstrations by our chef after this will show us how to carve fruit into attractive designs and how to cook Vietnamese spring rolls using basic ingredients.
19:30 The stars twinkle high above as we sit down to another fantastic dinner with a gorgeous backdrop.
21:00 Perhaps tonight, you would prefer some social activity at the bar or some reclusive relaxation in your cabin.

06:00 – 08:00 The sundeck will host its second of two tai chi classes, so don’t miss this one.
07:00 A light breakfast will set us up for sailing on our final day in Halong Bay.
08:30 At Titop Island, we can engage in the trio of activities here, including relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea and hiking to the top of the island where panoramic views of Halong Bay come to life.
09:45 We return to L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise for the last time and check out while we take the cruise back to the mainland harbour.
10:00 – 11:00 As we approach Tuan Chau harbour, a filling brunch will be served in the dining room.
11:30 We disembark L’Azalee Cruise at this point and bid a fond farewell to the crew. The driver will transfer us back to Hanoi in our shuttle bus.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 33 days prior to check-in ( departure date): Free of charge
• From 33 to 15 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 10% of total rates
• From 14 to 8 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 20% of total rates
• From 7 to 4 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than96 hours prior to check-in ( departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1-night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. In all cases, please contact our travel consultant via email or phone for support. We are always willing to provide you with any assistance you may need on or off the board.
