Relax into the Orient in the Starlight Cruise’s deluxe cabins, our 22m2 living quarters with a wonderful mix of classical Asian décor with Western comforts, including two twins beds or one queen. Enjoy the views from the large windows as well as the specially crafted art from inside the cabins.

Executive cabins comprise the second floor of the Starlight Cruise. Here you will enjoy the graceful décor as well as the wonders of the amenities on offer. The windows are large and the bed contains a mattress offering much comfort and promoting deep sleep in the majesty of the bay.

Just 2 rooms comprise the Suite cabins, located in a private area of the Starlight Cruise’s third floor. The 50m2 space is over double the amount afforded by our other cabins, meaning you have more room to roam and enjoy personal services like meals and spa treatments. The private balcony brings you closer to the unfolding scene of Bai Tu Long Bay with its traditional burnished wood flooring.

08:00 – 08:30: After your pick-up by our driver and tour bus, we will make our way eastwards to Bai Tu Long Bay.
12:15 – 12:45: At Hon Gai harbour, we lay eyes on the Starlight Cruise for the first time before boarding and greeting the staff at the entrance.
13:00: We begin our cruising past the limestone sentries of Halong Bay as lunch is served in the dining room.
15:30 We make our first stop at Vung Vieng, a fishing village around which we can explore on a bamboo boat or a kayak.
17:30 – 18:00: Head back to the Starlight Cruise to enjoy happy hour and a cooking class atop the sundeck. We will be heading to our overnight area as the chefs prepare dinner.
19:00: After the delicious and romantic dinner, you can relax into the evening with a great choice of activities, including squid fishing and board games.

06:30 – 08:00: The day starts anew with the rising sun and a tai chi session held on the sundeck. The Starlight Cruise weighs anchor and begins its sailing soon afterwards.
08:00 – 09:00: We head to Thien Canh Son cave, where we find many wonders in its rock formations, as well as a tremendous view from the top of the stone staircase inside.
09:30 – 11:00: Brunch is served once we return to the Starlight Cruise and it begins its return sailing to the harbour.
12:00 – 16:30: Say goodbye to the crew as the boat pulls into Hon Gai harbour, after which the bus will take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. End of 2 days 1 night in Halong Bay.

08:00 – 08:30: We begin the tour at your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Our guide will pick you up here and transfer you to Hon Gai harbour.
12:15 – 12:45: Enjoy a welcome drink as you step aboard the Starlight Cruise for the first time.
13:00: We have lunch in the dining room as we set sail from the harbour, after which we have much time to relax with the excellent facilities on board.
15:50: Our first excursion is to the colourful fishing village of Vung Vieng, where we can tour around on a sampan boat or a self-powered kayak.
17:30: We return to the Starlight Cruise and unwind in total peace. We head over to our overnight sleeping area as happy hour is served at the bar and a cooking demonstration is put on by the chef.
19:00: After a delightful dinner in the dining room, you are free to enjoy the evening with squid fishing or drinks at the bar.

06:30: Early risers should head to the top deck this morning to relish the spectacle of sunrise with a tai chi class.
07:30: Breakfast will be served downstairs.
8:30 - 15:30: We spend the day on the fabulously equipped day boat, heading to the quieter areas of Bai Tu Long Bay.
We have all day in the area of Tra San and its accompanying Vung Ha island. We can relax on the golden sands of the island as well as swim and kayak around the beautiful and placid waters that lap the shore.
Lunch will be served at about midday, on Vung Ha island itself if possible.
15:30 – 17:30: We rejoin the Starlight Cruise in the mid-afternoon, relaxing back into the pace of life on the boat with happy hour and another cooking demonstration.
18:00: Another exquisite dinner heralds the evening time, where we can opt for board games with the family or simply relax in your cabin as the waters of Bai Tu Long Bay lie still from your private balcony.

06:30 – 07:00: We host another tai chi session on the sundeck for the benefit of any passengers up early.
07:00 – 09:00: As we set sail for Thien Canh Son cave, breakfast is laid out in the dining room. We take a walk around the cave when we arrive, marvelling at the natural rock sculptures on all sides.
09:30 – 11:00: Back aboard the Starlight Cruise, we have an early lunch and cruise back to the harbour.
12:00 – 16:30: We disembark at the harbour and head back to Hanoi via the comfortable shuttle bus.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 33 days prior to check-in ( departure date): Free of charge
• From 33 to 15 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 10% of total rates
• From 14 to 8 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 20% of total rates
• From 7 to 4 days prior to check-in ( departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than96 hours prior to check-in ( departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. In all cases, please contact our travel consultant via email or phone for support. We are always willing to provide you with any assistance you may need on or off board.
