The wealth of experience that the Lavender Cruise possesses is one of the greatest assets of this Halong Bay budget cruise. We know what passengers need and want; for close to a decade of touring Halong Bay, we have refined our itinerary and ship to reflect this impeccably.
Ornate wooden decorations are to be found throughout the ship, lending an authenticity to the Lavender Cruise and pinning it firmly within Vietnamese tradition. Our bar, dining area, cabins and sundeck have the beating heart of Vietnam at their core, providing you with an exotic cruise that hits all the right notes.
7:45-8:15: You will be picked up by our driver and tour guide in your hotel lobby and transferred to Halong Bay.
12:00 – 12:30: The crew greet you with smiles after you board the Lavender Cruise for the first time and check out its many features.
13:15: Take in the beautiful seafood lunch in the dining room as some of the famous Halong Bay islands glide past outside the window.
15:00-16.30 We start our outdoor excursions at Titop Island, a dragon fang-shaped islet containing a beach, clean waters and a stone-step staircase to a panoramic viewing platform.
17:00 A sunset party will be in full flow once we return to the Lavender Cruise.
18:00: As we head towards our overnight anchorage point, the chef will lead a cooking class where we can learn the mysteries behind spring roll preparation.
19:30: A lovely set menu dinner is served in dining room, looking onto the reflective bay outside.
Our options for evening entertainment include the following:
- Squid fishing on the tender boat
- Playing board games
- Singing karaoke
- Indulging yourself at the bar
- Unwinding in private in your cabin

06:15: We start the day with tai chi on the sundeck, granting us some additional energy ahead of breakfast served in the dining room below.
07:15: As we set sail again today, we arrive at Sung Sot Cave, known for its glistening theatre of rocky chandeliers and the dramatic light that illuminates them against the cave walls.
09:30: We check out once we have returned to the Lavender Cruise and sail back to the harbour. A brunch will be served a little later.
12:00: We leave the Lavender Cruise and head back to Hanoi via the shuttle bus that will be waiting for us at the harbour.

7.45-8.15: Our driver and tour guide will arrive at your hotel’s lobby, helping you to board the shuttle bus that will take us eastwards to Halong Bay.
12.00 – 12.30: We board the majestic Lavender Cruise, listening to the itinerary briefing while sipping on a welcome drink.
13.15: Enjoy your first meal, a lovely lunch of very fresh, local seafood.
15.00-16.30 As we relax into a cruise through the shimmering waters of Halong Bay and the limestone karst mountains that surround them, we arrive at Titop Island, where swimming, relaxing on the beach and hiking to the peak are all possible.
17.00 The sunset party on the top deck of the boat will welcome us back to the Lavender Cruise in style.
18.00: A cooking class led by our chef will show you how to create wonderful Vietnamese spring rolls at home.
19:30: Head to the restaurant for a beautiful dinner as the stillness of Halong Bay lies calmly outside.

-Relaxing on the sundeck or in the privacy of your cabin

06:30: Gain a big boost of energy this morning from atop the sundeck, where a tai chi class will be held.
07:00: A full breakfast will continue our great start to the day in the dining room.
08:00: Jump aboard the Lavender Cruise’s day boat, with which we will be able to access the more quiet areas of Halong Bay.
10.00: We start at Ho Dong Tien, or the ‘Fairy Lake Cave’ in English, where we can kayak around the glistening waters.
12.00: Back aboard the day boat, a filling lunch is served amid beautiful surroundings.
14.30: We head to Tung Sau pearl farm after this to gain a better understanding of how locals farm the gorgeous gemstones in the heart of the bay.
16.20: After more leisurely cruising, we rejoin the Lavender Cruise before it makes its way to the overnight anchorage point.
19:00: In the restaurant, another elegant evening meal will served as we settle down for another night in resplendent surrounds.

06:15: Wake up early for your last chance to experience an ancient martial art in the ancient land of Halong Bay.
07:15: Before we make our last stop, we sit down for a light breakfast in the dining room. After this, we take a walking tour of Sung Sot Cave (The Amazing Cave) and explore the unique collection of stalactites and stalagmites within its walls.
09:30: Back aboard the Lavender Cruise, we sit down for a final brunch as we begin our long cruise back to the harbour.
12:00: The shuttle bus will greet us at the harbour for our return leg to Hanoi.

Booking Policy
• 50 % of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is to be paid 15 days prior to the departure date.
• In some special cases, you will be required to pay the full cost or a number greater or smaller than the standard 50% to secure your booking.
• In some special cases, the deadline for payment will be required sooner or later than the standard 15 days prior to booking.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 30 days prior to check-in (departure date): Free of charge
• From 30 to 16 days prior to check-in (departure date): 10% of total rates
• From 15 to 10 days prior to check-in (departure date): 20% of total rates
• From 9 to 5 days prior to check-in (departure date): 50% of total rates
• Less than 5 days prior to check-in (departure date): 100% of total rates.
• No-Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation by Halong Bay Management Board due to bad weather
If the cancellation is made by the Halong Bay Management Board, following policies will be applied depending on the time of cancellation.
• When a cancellation is made before departure date- check-in date (if no services have been used): 100% refund.
• When a cancellation is made during the trip (some services have been used such as transfer, food, some amenities, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• When a cancellation is made before or during the departure date and the trip must be shortened from 2 nights to 1 night, 2 days 1 night trip, plus other used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
• The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you!
Note: In case of a cancellation decision made by the Management Board of Halong Bay, an alternative travel arrangement will be made on request, or you will be refunded in accordance. In all cases, please contact our travel consultant via email or phone for support. We are always willing to provide you with any assistance you may need on or off board.
