8:00: Tour guide pick up at your hotel in Hoi An. Start by bike around Hoi An toward Tra Que Vegetable Village, located 3 km away from the center of Hoi An center. Riding on a bike you can see the tranquil atmosphere of the countryside of Hoi An.
Arrive at Tra Que organic herb village, walk through and visit the garden where local farmers work on their farm and use the traditional methods. After a short stroll taking around the vegetable garden, you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. The following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other gardening activities.
Say goodbye to Tra Que Village, you will get on a basket boat, locally named the “Thung Chai” and start sailing into the water coconut forest. Enjoy and learn the skills of the local farmer with a basket boat, visit palm forest, listen to stories about the American war in this area, and experience fishing crabs like a local.
