Cu Chi Tunnel is an underground system with 250 kilometers length and was used to be the shelter for Viet Cong soldiers during the war. It was used as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving, communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters.
You will have lunch there and then we will go back to the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at 08.00 AM and will take you to Ben Tre Province. You will have one day to relax in this peaceful and dreamy pace with the serene beauty.
Arrived at Hung Vuong Pier, you will take a motorized river boat to begin your journey to the Mekong River. You will see many workplaces on the river bank and also many local products such as bricks in handy traditional style or various coconut products. Passing through a small canal, you will enter a local village where they do mat-waving and taste some tropical fruits.
You can choose either bicycle or motorized rickshaw (xe loi) to explore this village. You will go by some rice and vegetable fields, giving the chance to understand more about local life and Vietnamese culture.

Activities: Take a trip on a bicycle to the rural village
Your tour guide will pick you up with bicycles to start your exciting trip. Leaving the bustling city behind, cycle around the peaceful and beautiful countryside of Vietnam.
On the tranquil road, you will pass by the green rice fields and make the next stop at Ba Le market. Then we will head to Van Lang fishing village and Bay Mau water coconut forest. The water coconut forest used to be the hiding place for soldiers and locals during the Vietnamese War. Nowadays, it becomes the famous touristic destination with 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals and housed hiding in water coconut leaf.
On arriving, you will be warmly welcomed by the host with a fresh green tea. Then, take your free time to walk around and explore this village. You can also learn how to fish with a traditional way and how to row a boat.

Begin Hanoi City Tour Full Day with a lovely breakfast in your hotel and prepare for the full day city tour of the historical city. We will start this tour with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday, every afternoon and from late September until the end of December). This is where Uncle Ho – the hero of Vietnam rests. Every year, there are many tourists from all over the world coming here to express their admiration towards President Ho Chi Minh. Behind the mausoleum, we will find Ho Chi Minh’s former stilt-house residence and the iconic One-Pillar Pagoda, a unique relic that encapsulates the Buddhist roots of Hanoi. We will also visit the Presidential Palace that hosts many government meetings.
After this, we will head to the 1st national university of Vietnam – Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam). This temple was built in 1070 and used to host the Imperial Academy. It is one of several temples in Vietnam which is dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. Before every exams, all of Vietnamese students come here to wish for good luck.
Then we will have lunch in KOTO Restaurant (which stands for Know One, Teach One). This is a very special restaurant because they train the disadvantaged children.
In the afternoon, we will set out to Hoa Lo Prison or Ethnology Museum. Hoa Lo Prison or as known as Hanoi Hilton – a nickname given by US pilots during Vietnamese war. The Ethnology Museum stores and displays many cultural artifacts of all 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups that help you learn more about Vietnamese history.
Heading back to Hanoi Old Quarter, you can take a walk along the 36 antique streets of Hanoi, seeing the lifestyle of local people here. Maybe also enjoy a beer or go shopping, enjoy the delicious street food before coming back to your hotel for some rest.

After that, we head back to Sapa and spend one night there.
