Pick-up: 07.30 am – 08.15 am - Return: 17.30 pm
07.30 am – 08.15 am: Meet the tour guide at the lobby of your hotel and then we depart to Ben Tre.
Arrive at Ham Luong Dock at around 10.00 am. We get on the boat and start our journey along Ham Luong River. You may be excited to enjoy the cool fresh air from the river and see the lush tropical islands along the river’s banks.
Our first stop is to visit a local handicraft workshop where you can see the process of making many products from coconuts by the locals, including coconut candies, mats, dried coconuts, and coconut blooms. You can have a try to weave your mats using a huge loom under the instruction of the experts, exactly the locals who work as an artist of their field for years.
Afterward, we will walk along the paths to see the beauty of this picturesque village and surrounding areas. Try to travel by “Xe Loi” – a local vehicle using to travel around small paths. It can be called as a type of motorized rickshaw – the typical transportation of Mekong Delta in the past. Next, you can do kayaking for further discovery of the lush tropical canals.
Enjoy your lunch at a local house over the river.
Take a short break after lunch. In the afternoon, we will cycle around the village to visit the local fruit orchard. Here you can pick and then enjoy many types of fresh fruits.
Return to the sampan boat for a relaxing time before we leave Ben Tre. Spend your rowing time to enjoy the natural beauty and get the feeling of how wonderful it is.
Arrive at the dock. Our shuttle bus is waiting for you and ready to drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
At around 17.30, our tour guide will drop you off at your hotel. End of the full-day tour to Ben Tre.
