Traditional handicraft villages are the highlights of a half day tour biking & boating to the countryside of Hoi An. 7:30 Guide will meet you at your hotel and introduce the tour program. After a brief introduction and some biking guidance, you will be provided a bike to ride towards the harbor then get on a bamboo basket boat to visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village first. While taking a boat trip, you will discover the rural life of the Hoi An countryside with beautiful and peaceful ambiance.
After arriving at Thanh Ha Pottery Village - more than 500 years old to see the people there still reviving the method of making pottery by hand from their ancestors and can learn how you can make your own pottery.
After that, you will continue to Kim Bong Carpentry village where you will listen to the historical presentation of the village and activities, visit the shipbuilding workshop, wood carvings by locals – a family traditional occupation, Can Phuc and another workshop. You will see how to make the traditional wooden boat that travels along the river.
Driving to Tra Nhieu Village, amid the river Thu Bon, you will listen to the presentation on the history of the war and its activities. The fishermen leave their nets, and boats and prepare their tools for a long ride 2-3 weeks at sea. Stop to visit how to make sleeping mats and local traditional handicrafts.
After visiting 3 highlight spots, you will enjoy your Vietnamese traditional lunch at a local restaurant
11.30: After you have relaxed for a while, your tour guide will lead you back to your hotel by bike to fulfill your bike trip in Hoi An countryside and end the Hoi An Handicraft Villages trip at 11:30
