Ban Goc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake Group Tour 3 Days 2 Nights

07.30 am – 08.00 am: Aster your breakfast, our tour guide and driver will meet you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter Area, followed by 3-hour driving to Lang Son. 

Take a stopover at Chi Lang Pass, our tour guide will send you some information about this historical place where Vietnamese people defeated the invader to protect the border area in the 10th century.

Afterward, we will spend around 1 hour to visit “The Gate of Monster” – Quy Mon Quan which was named for many invading forces in the history and the place that Vietnamese people defeated them.

Before we continue the trip, have lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang.

Keep moving into the pass, we will visit Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe - was an important historical place where the well-known Battle of Dong Khe was taken place during the First Indochina War.

In the evening, we will reach and check-in our homestay hosted by Nung people. Have dinner with the host and stay overnight at homestay.

The second day is the highlight of Ban Goc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake 3 Days 2 Nights Group Tour.

After enjoying breakfast at our homestay, we will head to visit Trung Khanh – the border area with China. Here you will have another opportunity to interact with Nung people who live in Phuoc Sen Village. This mountainous village is famous for its traditional blacksmithing. Many types of farming tools are made there to use for their farming life.

After that, we will move to visit the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall which is the border between Vietnam and China and belongs to both countries. It’s an excellent chance to take fantastic photos of this famous Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Our next destination is to visit Nguom Ngao Cave which stretches for around 2,144 meters underground and hides incredible stalactites and stalagmites. You may be amazed at the impressive natural wonder of the cave.

Return to Cao Bang Town, we will drive through the Snake Pass to reach Ba Be Lake. Tonight you will stay at a Tay family’s house. You can help them to prepare for dinner, which is a great chance to understand more about the Tay people’s cuisines.

Notes: All clients stay in a dorm. Private rooms are not available.

The last day of Ban Goc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake 3 Days 2 Nights is to take a boat tour to Ba Be Lake. 

Have breakfast at the homestay to get full of energy for today. After getting on the boat, you can have a relaxing time to enjoy the breathtaking views of Ba Be Lake. You can also jump into the cool water to refresh yourselves.

From the lake, you can see the beauty of the karst formation which is very natural with rich wildlife. The boat continues to run along the Nang River, where you can visit Puong Grottoes. These marvelous caves own incredible stalactites and stalagmites which were created through river erosion thousand of years ago.

After the boating trip, we will drive 230 kilometers returning to Hanoi. 

Have lunch in a local restaurant on the way back to Hanoi.
