7.30 – 8.00 AM: From your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, our tour guide and luxury shuttle bus will pick you up for the transfer to Mai Chau.
09.00 AM: We have a short break at Luong Son – Hoa Binh Province. We will have a drink and enjoy the fresh air here.
11.00 AM: We stop at a local market of Muong People near Thung Khe Pass. Muong is one of the biggest ethnic groups in Vietnam. From Thung Khe, you can enjoy the breathtaking landscape of this area. You can also try some special local food here such as grilled eggs, corns or boiled corns (costs paid on your own). The venders are also Muong people so you can ask your tour guide to help you talk with them.
12.00: We arrive at Mai Chau. Enjoy a delicious lunch in a house on stilt of Thai people. The cuisine of ethnic people is very much different from the one that you taste in Hanoi.
1.00 – 3.30 PM: Tour guide will give you a bike to cycle around the village. You can ride through the paddy fields, take pictures with local people or learn about how they grew rice between these mountains. We will stop halfway at a stilt house to have some tea, you can also walk around to other houses and see their unique architecture. There are also some local handicraft shops that you can buy home, they are all made by Thai People here.
3.30 PM: Get on your luxury shuttle bus, say goodbye to local people and come back to Hanoi.
