In Northern Vietnam, Van Long Natural Reserve is a well-liked holiday spot, especially among eco-tourists. Van Long Natural Reserve is so well-known for its abundance of rare creatures and biological variety that it not only draws millions of domestic and international tourists but also the attention of several scholars and groups dedicated to the preservation of natural reserves.

Van Long Nature Reserve
Van Long Natural Reserve is located 17 kilometers northeast of Ninh Binh's core business area, close to Cuc Phuong National Park and the Trang An Ecotourism Complex. This place is a must-visit destination along your Vietnam trip.
Van Long has a natural area of more than 3,500 hectares, of which 2745 ha are managed as a natural reserve. More than 400 acres of the region are often underwater. Van Long, which is regarded as the greatest inland wetland in the Northern Delta, is a location with enormous potential for both natural and humanistic tourism.
Van means "cloud," and Long means "dragon," therefore the name Van Long symbolizes the desire and goal of the residents for a tranquil existence. Both clouds and dragons are representations of water; in addition, when a dragon and a cloud meet, good things will happen.
