Things to do in Tam Coc

Tam Coc Boat Tour – From the heart of town

If you are still reluctant to choose a destination to spend your holiday in Ninh Binh, taking a Tam Coc Boat Tour is worth your money at around $8 per person. When it comes to the poetic Ngo Dong River, the boating journey in Tam Coc Nam appears simple, but the wild charm of mossy rocky mountains and the color of the clear blue sky will make you fall in a love.no way out. For the first time, you can see people rowing the boat with their legs and taking photos to share with their friends and family. When going down the river, you will see that on both sides of the river are green rice fields. This is a beautiful time to preserve the romantic and poetic moments of the Ngo Dong River.

Den Thai Vi temple—a short walk from Tam Coc

An ancient temple called Thai VI was constructed with the intention of conducting festivals and significant rituals thousands of years ago. The path to Den Thai Vi is a must-visit if you're looking for the best photographic spot in this beautiful area of Vietnam. In all of Tam Coc, it really gave us some of the best shooting opportunities.

It won't take long to go to Den Thai Vi, a little temple. But because it's such a beautiful place, give yourself plenty of time to enjoy it all.

The Bich Dong pagoda is situated close to Tam Coc in the Truong Yen mountains. Le Thai To was in power when it was constructed, some 600 years ago. The location is accessible through a gate that has a bridge and three miniature pagodas. The three pagodas were given the titles Low Pagoda (Ha Pagoda), Middle Pagoda (Trung Pagoda), and Top Pagoda since they were built on three distinct levels (Thuong Pagoda). The entire pagoda area is beautiful and serene, bordered by mountains and lakes teeming with lilies.

How to explore the attractions around Tam Coc?

Motorbike ~$5: Our preferred method of seeing Tam Coc and everything in the surrounding places is by motorbike or scooter. Driving past rivers lined with lily pads and limestone cliffs was such a fantastic experience!

Bicycle ~$2: Renting a bicycle and exploring the area with your legs is another fantastic way to discover Tam Coc. We enjoyed doing this on one of the days very much. The main drawback is that you can't travel as far or as quickly as you can on a motorcycle.

Group tour: Joining a group trip is your final option for seeing Tam Coc. Every day, a number of trips leave for various locations in and near Tam Coc. For instance, have a look at this tour Hoa Lu - Hang Mua – Tam Coc Day Tour
