  Mar 30, 2023

Need for a good policy to attract international tourists

After the covid pandemic, the Vietnamese government has tried the best to attract many international tourists , but the number of visitors to Vietnam has not been as expected.

Many travelers not decide to visit Vietnam because there is still visa barrier. It is difficult to get a visa to Vietnam or the visa to Vietnam is not long enough.

So extending tourist visa to 3 months is a great way to attract more tourists.

Vietnam is a beautiful country with a lot of famous places. Tourists taking a package tour to Vietnam may take part in a Halong Bay Cruise, visit Sapa mountainous area, Ninh Binh or visit Ba Na Hill in the middle of Vietnam. Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Mui Ne with beautiful beaches and Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi Tunnels and historical relics sites

Action for 3 month visa

Among items on the agenda for a parliamentary session on Monday in Ha Noi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has emphasized extending the validity of tourist visas to three months and streamlining the prerequisites for Vietnamese nationals seeking for permits to enter other countries.

The Law on Foreigners' Entrance into, Departure from, Transit Through, and Residence in Viet Nam and the Law on Vietnamese Citizens' Exit and Entry have several sections that need to be revised or added to. Prime Minister Chinh has given the Ministry of Public Security the task of doing this in coordination with other ministries and agencies.

For inclusion in the development program for laws and ordinances for 2023, the proposal will be presented to the National Assembly.

The conversation addressed a wide range of topics, including supporting Vietnamese people going abroad and assisting foreigners to travel to Vietnam.

According to the PM, the proposal to increase the duration of e-visas from 30 days to 90 days (from the current 30 days), permit single and multiple entries, issue e-visas to citizens of all nations and territories (with the list determined by the Government), and increase the time that visitors entering the country under visa exemption categories may temporarily reside at the border gate from 15 days to 45 days was backed by the majority of cabinet members.

According to PM Chinh, the Law on Citizenship Identity has to be changed since it has a substantial influence on people's rights and interests.

He pointed out that the amendment's substance has to be thoroughly reviewed and analyzed because it creates a lot of fresh issues and elicits a diversity of opinions.

The Party's norms, the Government's directive, and the requirements of the Law on the Promulgation of Legal Documents must all be followed, he insisted.

The Law on Credit Institutions has to be revised, according to PM Chinh, since it contains a lot of complex and delicate regulations that have a significant influence on the whole community and the economy.

To protect market transparency, financial system stability, and the mobilization of resources for socioeconomic growth, in particular, reform is necessary.

In his closing remarks, Chinh said that the Government has been focusing extensively on upholding the Party's instructions and the laws of the State and that it has recently made three important accomplishments, notably institutional ones.

He also expressed his appreciation to the ministries and sectors for their active involvement in formulating and offering amendments and suggestions for new legislation, as well as for their careful consideration, exhaustive detailing, and assurance of development and quality.

We do hope that with a good policy for visa to Vietanm then we will welcome more travellers to Vietnam. Choose the best tour  agency in Vietnam - Vietnam Escape Tours for your trip to Vietnam and enjoy every moment in Vietnam.
